A glaring issue from last season in the Prem was how Ollie Watkins carried a heavy load of goals.
16 from Ollie, with next top scorers Rogers on 8 & Jan departure Duran on 7.
Guessand should help there, while Rogers & Malen(?) can aim for double figures each this season. #avfc

Preseason is ultimately meaningless for anything other than fitness (Villa lost 4-1 to Columbus Crew a year ago! Meant nothing!)

A full preseason (unlike last year). Playing for a World Cup place. No Duran, so he gets more 90 mins. Playing angry after being dropped at points recently.
