Which makes pretty solid sense. So many of us late diagnosed folks ended up abusing substances of some kind as part of the coping mechanisms developed over a lifetime.
For me it was alcohol, still food.

After yesterday, today's plan was to get a good night's sleep (success), and just relax.
My brain, OTOH, decided today might be a great day to whisper a whole lot of horrible things about myself, and my future, and I really love having mental health issues.
