What I'm seeing on here is overwhelming condemnation; despair at the violence of US politics; alarm at where this might go; & calls for equal horror at other shootings.
What happened to Charlie Kirk is also what happened to 20 children (ages 6 and 7) at the Sandy Hook Elementary School.
I don’t remember the right being this upset back then—do you? 🤨
Charlie Kirk’s assassination was horrific.
That doesn’t change the fact that the vast majority of gun (and political) violence has been perpetuated by right wingers.
You don’t get to change the narrative at will.
