Thomas Jefferson warned that exploding wealth inequality would destroy the nation. Trump/Republican tax cuts for the super-rich have made it much, much worse. They don't care. Government by billionaires for billionaires.
The U.S. Treasury would collect approximately $660 billion from about 22 million millionaires, if they paid taxes in proportion to those making six figures or less. We donโt need DOGE to solve this problem.
