As a follow up to this, it looks like CR WILL be using D&D for its Season 4 campaign.
Which is... very odd in my opinion.
Whatever the reason (Hasbro $$ maybe?), I feel like they're sending the message that not even they, the creators, want to run Daggerheart.
Huh. While I certainly DON'T think Big Name TTRPG AP shows have a responsibility or duty to show off smaller games, I DO feel we can give them all massive side eye for choosing not to do so.

There's this book called "Colonialism and the Emergence of Science Fiction" that I've been giving away a lot of late, it helped me with the history of why this is so deeply embedded in this genre. Conflation of space and westward expansion is a big taproot. And it's very 'air we breath' to some.

I just thought I didn't really need LoA when I already had HEX.
But anyway, yeah. I ran a game of HEX for a total of six players once, and that was a challenge.
Further Unhinged TTRPG takes: Do an Actual Play where you don't ever perform. Stop doing voices and deeply described details or physical act outs.
Engage only the system you're using to create and make that the show. I want to see folks actually playing the game and how it will change the show.
Further Unhinged TTRPG takes: Storygamers and OSR peeps who refuse to use maps n' minis with the belief it will limit creativity are causing the same amount of miscommunication & unspoken frustration as those who refuse to use safety tools
