I wonder why that is. But really I don't. Because there are no more 3rd spaces. Every store front has a "No loitering sign." Then the "No skateboarding or bicycling" signs too. We are a car-centric society. Where exactly do we want people to engage in these activities when all we're told is no?

Probably on a wave somewhere between coherence and incoherent. I like science, games, and politics. And with so much to learn, there's only one question to ask: "Wanna go for a ride?"

Where was I 3 minutes ago.
Damn it
if I get food poisoning it is actually quite a bit more comparable to the Challenger exploding than I would prefer

There have been things I have had to eat that was comparable, yes.
It was a disaster to say the least.
There’s a certain type of person that can only respond to something bad currently happening by going “things have been bad for a long time!”
Ok? Congratulations? If you get food poisoning do you go “this is nothing compared to the Challenger exploding”?

The "Goldilocks Zone" of consumerism is somewhere in the area of production efficiency and ownership of the means of that production by the workers. We're experiencing extreme abundance now, pay walled behind the privatization of all resources and that surplus hoarded by greedy elites.
