Were respondents asked about this specifically, and (separate question) to what extent do they know that the Gazan population is experiencing outright famine?

Lazar Research Institute did a poll finding that 41% of respondents agreed that a humanitarian crisis is unfolding in Gaza. Of this group, 56% said they care about the issue of famine in Gaza. 47 of all respondents said they do not believe there's a famine.

  1. In this case, it seems that the issue is more denial than a conscious approval of the government strategy of starving people to death. The answer to the question "do you wish that people in Gaza die of hunger" would likely not be a majority of "yes".
