this came to me in a dream

inside the triangle, up top there is a tank legs armored core from gen 5, then below it a wanzer from front mission. below it, to the left, the inital ac from armored core 3. below it stinger's ac. blow it, to the left, the mind beta ac from ac6 using reverse joint legs. to the right, the nineball seraph. to its right, the strike gundam. below it, white glint. to the right of white glint, gundam schwarzette. below schwarzette, to the right, the wing gundam zero. on its left, the exusia from ac5. on its left, a bit up is Kshatriya and a bit down is ac6 CEL. to the left of Kshatriya there's the nachtreiher frame from ac6. below it, to the left, the filial from ac2.
outside of the triangle: between the angel and the tank, a jet plane; between the tank and the monster, a beetle; between the mosnter and the angel, a emoji pointing towards "you"/"the camera", below it, written "the nerd reading this"

BattleTech is very much on the Tank corner, though quad-mechs like the Scorpion and Tarantula are on the Beetle side of that corner. There's also the Celestial series on the Angel side of it, but they're from the 2000s, so Those Kinds of veteran players won't mention them. Bit of a shame.

(Aside: you'll see people go "well why ever bring a mech instead of a tank?" and the answer is: 'cause mechs can do stuff tanks just CAN'T, like mount 18 guns or pick up & carry stuff without a loading crew or climb hills without gunning the engine or function in the vacuum of space.)
