Women should have an equal shot at gaining the experiences that qualify them to lead and to running for any office they choose. After seeing Noem, Gabbard, Bondi and others, I'm not willing to say women per se would be better than men. Women, like men, run the gamut in character and competence.

I don't care if Trump was humiliated, and, weirdly, I don't care if we Americans were either. Given how disastrous this summit could have been for Ukraine and global stability, I'm relieved that U.S. humiliation is the worst outcome. Maybe (unlikely) Trump will learn something from the bad press.

Of course it didn't happen. This is basically a "sir" story. Next, he'll tell us Putin had tears in his eyes when he said it. It's absurd.

The only thing that matters is Ukraine. If we managed to avoid harming Ukraine today, then Trump's humiliation (and, by extension, our country's) is bearable. Trump brought it on himself (and us), and we'll just have to live with it.

Yes, this is exactly what Putin said. It keeps him up, how unfairly Trump was treated. Putin has never seen an election so rigged. 🤡

Half of the U.S. gave up. Many of us care very much about Ukraine and continue to advocate for it. I know that's of little help to Ukraine, though, and I'm so grateful that Europe has stood strong. I hope someday soon that we, too, will be back on the right side of this fight.
