  1. Hell yes! This insanity must end! We can’t say we didn’t know! He’s doing it in front of us. Imagine what he’s doing behind closed doors!🤬😮‍💨

  2. What the state of Texas is trying to do by cheating is impacting all of America. The GOP is admitting it is in trouble and has to cheat to win anything from here on out. Why are they afraid of voters?

  3. “Our revolution will be bloodless if the Left allows it to be.” Kevin Roberts, President, Heritage Foundation

You’ll have to deal with those of us in the middle too, bitch. But I imagine you’ll be hiding in some basement when it all goes down.

  4. Yes but oddly i also support the idea of a brand new blue gerrymander to counter it. Blue states get out your sharpies. Never thought i would ever say that. Here we are.

  5. The Brennan Center says republican gerrymandering resulted in an extra 16 house seats in 2024 & complete control of the federal government. Blue states must redistrict now for the 2026 elections. Our votes are already diluted by the electoral college & only 2 senators despite population. Don't wait

  6. I’m so impressed with these lawmakers who have left their families and paying jobs(state legislators receive only small stipends) to at least slow the authoritarian movement

  7. A small number of Texas panhandle petro-billionaires run the state. It is in their interest for the state and federal legislatures to be Republican. Texas lege passed an insane bill to allow fracking water to be used in agriculture. Federal government is dismantling environmental laws. It’s a plan.

Just a note - the last time I was in Chicago, I ate at several RILLY RILLY GUD Tex-Mex joints, filled with Tex-Mex fud AND Mexican Coke. Should be pretty comfy for the next little while. It's not like the TX Democrats aren't allowed to eat good pizza, either.

  9. Illinoisan here and I’m 100% behind these senators. I plan to help them financially too once we fit it into our budget. They’re going to need help with money from what I heard on BTC on YouTube today.

  10. I do. I contributed a small amount to help them pay the $500 per day, per person fee for being absent. If you can spare the cost of a cup of coffee, you can chip in here: Fight Back Against Voter Suppression - Powered By People share.google/bvMQDMRaMUJR...

And as a sign that fascism is in full bloom, Abbott and Paxton plan to use authoritarian, anti-democratic actions to replace duly elected legislators with bobble head puppets.

  14. It is costing them fines to do this. As far as I can gather $500 dollars a day. Most of them get paid $500 a month to be a rep. Who’s that babyface, preacher who actually speaks of Christian values? Someone tag him.

    Yes, I do!

Sadly, I don’t think it will play out well for the Dems involved or for the texas re-bullshitting.
