Occasionally I am reminded about how John Lewis became a living wage employer by sacking all of its cleaners and outsourcing the (still low paying) jobs to another company.
To never try because failure is assumed shouldn't be the course of action, but to assume that policy around wealth and the wealthy will work exactly as the theory and calculations predict is also foolish.
They don't get to that position without a level of intelligence and professional support.
