  1. Let me first say, I’m not a lawyer. I thought the job of the BAR Association is to make sure lawyers are ethical among other things. That said, why are these Trump attorneys not under investigation? Is the BAR Association waiting for Trump and/or these attorneys to leave office before investigating.

  2. Is Judge Michael Nachmanoff still blocking the release of the evidence of prosecutor criminal negligence and misleading the grand jury?

  3. Think of all the evidence the DOJ had against trump - and Cannon and SCOTUS let it go. And now, no procedure at all, but fascism gets this far down the road. A different judge might have allowed the case- America needs a serious renovation ; there is rot and infestation everywhere.

  4. “The new indictment wasn’t a new indictment,” Lemons said.

Lemons is right in that it’s not an indictment at all. At least not in the normal sense of the word.

  5. This case has been two things, both characteristic of Trump's presidency:

    1. a political revenge attack with no basis in fact
    2. incompetently handled by unqualified people from start to finish. Comey should sue the DOJ once the case inevitably collapses

  6. MAGA people keep proving the need for educated professionals in positions of responsibility. Over and over and over and over!!!

  7. Time for all the lawyers involved in the prosecution of Comey to be censured & have their licenses to practice law revoked.

  8. Doctrine of grand juror ratification can save it if blanched Todd hurries to get signatures from the panel. Not.

  9. A sham political payback threat of a case from day one. Trump and his compromised DOJ appointees are a disgrace to rule of law. To all the good people hanging in there, document everything that you can! 👍🏼

  10. It is a good thing they are such incompetent fucking clowns Imagine how much worse it could be if they were organized and efficient...it would be 1938 Germany The real difference between MAGA and the National Socialists is that the National Socialists were evil and competent. MAGA is just evil.

  11. How did this case get this far along?

Like so many MAGA, they are beyond crooked; they're genuinely dumb! I think all professional crooks are dumb - and that gives me faith that the force is with us and good will prevail. I just want to give it a little kick in the a** though to hurry it up!

  12. EVERY DAMN F*cking Trump Appointee is INEPT -- EVERY DAMN ONE OF THEM‼️...Intelligence is not a strong quality necessary to be a Crook -- RIGHT, Ol' DonOLD⁉️

My understanding is that this is grounds for a criminal charge and disbarment at the very least.

  14. The case against Comey is as good as over at this point. Prosecutors just admitted to lying to courts to charge Comey. Republicans love to bitch about how Biden weaponized the justice department to throw the J6ers in prison, yet they are okay with the orange ape using the DOJ to enact retribution.

  15. They have a Grand Jury Indictment, but it was never voted to go forward by the Grand Jury? What the heck does that even mean? That they have nothing then, right?

What an unbelievable unmitigated cluster fuck.

In the words of former NYS Chief Judge Sol Wachtler: “you can indict a ham sandwich.”

  18. Well gosh folks....half of trump's "legal" team were hired to stand there and look pretty...it's not her fault they actually expect her to do her job! 🤦... Women.... don't ever let this be you...it actually isn't pretty.

  19. Hey law-talking people, could someone be deliberately damaging this case? Am I assuming to much to think that this is basic stuff that any lawyer should know?

  20. Whether incompetent or nefarious, it’s shocking, in a sea of the shocking corrupting of the Justice Department.

  21. Seems the biggest enemy of this second-rate autocracy is its own blithering incompetence

MORE, PLEASE. Not every American judge has had an equal chance to smack these corrupt mediocrities down yet

  22. The incompetence of trump appointees, across every office and bureau is astounding and an embarrassment. That’s the only thing keeping America from going over the cliff

  23. Meanwhile Trump is pushing Bondi to investigate Epstein Democrats to avoid releasing his involvement...

  24. Oh they tried to take the power of the people away in a new way! Every day is a new stark reminder of the depth of darkness of this admin. Lucifer is pleased and waiting for them.🔥

  25. Stunning! Ye @npr.org ATC host response to reporter during story=flat-voiced, as if barely interested, signalling to US: "Huh. Oh well. No biggie deal. Unprecedented...What 'evs."

Which is how we got here w/legacy media not bothering to set context that this behavior by Admin is SHOCKING. Again.

  26. Turns out hiring people because they look like they came from Central Casting isn't a great idea

  27. Can someone help my lay understanding here.

The prosecutor presented Case A to the grand jury.

The prosecutor charged Case B which was never presented to the Grand Jury.

    Is that correct?

  28. This is the result when a vengeful man tells a Moron to bring charges that actually are based on nothing but RETRIBUTION & LIES.

  29. There have to start being severe court sanctions and disbarment proceedings against these DOJ clowns to send the clear message that this bullsh*t will not be tolerated.

  30. The irony involving this case is that Comey actually played a part in helping the Felon get elected in 2016.

He decided to investigate Hillary Clinton's emails, while, at the same time, he knew that Russia was interfering in the election, on Dump's behalf.

  31. So it was, in that very description, an attempted *Persecution, NOT a "prosecution", w a planned sentencing.

Unsurprising, from the current Nazi-Aspirated Corruption-Diseased dystopian regime under the current "president" / Dictator wannabe (🍊Shitler)

  32. Up next they’ll argue it can’t be dismissed with prejudice because it isn’t actually an indictment, but that they have six months to fix it because they filed it and stopped the statute of limitations.

    0
  33. No real lawyer would bring the case. Halligan was appointed last minute because she promised Trump she’d indict Comey. The statute of limitations was set to expire a week after she was sworn in. She skipped right past the rules to meet the deadline. I’m glad the indictment is falling apart on her.

  34. When we’re lead by incompetence how can anyone be stunned? Surely the head of the Department of Justice will step down, be disbarred and retire to the confines of Mar a Lago - amiright? An utter legal and professional failure.

    0
  35. Because the people at the DOJ are just that competent, right? Because they are tRumps lawyers, now. All the good people quit or were fired.

    0
  36. As usual, Trump has appointed a prosecutor, not for her qualifications, but for her loyalty to him...and her looks.

    2
  37. It's wild how many lawyers -- particularly those in Trump orbit -- just assume that no one will ever check their work.

The (second) most basic part of being a lawyer is reviewing the other side's work for anything you can poke holes in. But they assume everyone's as lazy and inept as they are.

    0
  38. Like Halligan, I'm an insurance lawyer who's never handled a criminal case.

And even I immediately recognize both how egregious this is and how impossible it was that it wouldn't be very quickly discivered.

    4
  39. Incompetence across all sectors of the trump administration. Not one department is leading this race. They are all neck and neck

    6
  40. Huh. So, the entire "case", isn't. And the folks involved likely broke the law, if not violated their ethical codes. And the defendant is likely going to walk away not merely with prejudice, but with rather a lot of compensation for what appears to be a deliberate attempt to violate their rights.

  41. Such h incompetence from an incompetent administration. Where will it all end? Alot of people will be charged, convicted then pardoned by then president JD Vance. Charge them all in state courts to prevent the continued abuse of the pardon privilege. Trump will leave office before his term is up.

  42. How about Comey is not guilty and this is all bullshit? How about that? trump needs to stop his insanity--senators/congresspeople do the job & get rid of the lunatic who shits himself and enriches himself stealing from the taxpayers on the daily - we're exhausted; every day is a new trump disaster.

  43. The judge needs to quickly move to toss this “indictment” - it isn’t an indictment, it’s a revenge filing built on lies. Then he needs to ROAST the DOJ, Halligan, Lemons, Bondi and the other lawyers involved.

    0
  44. What do you mean could? Please explain if this doesn’t instantly and summarily dismiss the case and disbar the prosecutor exactly what the fuck WOULD IT TAKE TO DO THAT?
