I've been saying for years that they need a permanent 'whacky nonsense' mode to balance out the sweaty competitive vibes. A place to not worry about balance, and to just focus on the action and fun. Pubs is too serious so it plays as 'ranked lite,' and the mini-games are too removed from core Apex.

We grew up next to a large pond. Her solution was to tell us there was a pond witch named 'Jenny Greenteeth' that had hair of duckweed and pulled children under. This meant every swimming bullfrog that moved the duckweed caused us to run as far away from the pond as possible. 😂

This is so sweet! My oldest brother almost drowned, but when they found him floating in the lake he had an orange wedge blocking his airways!
My mom has always been a 'hands-off' kind of parent, but after that was always very... anxious leaving us around bodies of water.
