It’s interesting how fictionalized Britains are developed everywhere yet the most popular fictionalized version of America is made in Britain.
The number of crimes have gone down. The number of deaths from crimes have gone down. But the rate at which the latter has declined is less than the rate that the former has declined! Egads!
I read this guy’s book (it was an Audible deal) and now I have to wonder if there was anything of value in it.
Perhaps worth remembering: he just had to get the bad guy to release the hostages. It was a one time thing. He never handled iterated prisoner dilemmas.
