The underlying message is that people who don't serve capitalism deserve to die. It's the same message we hear from leaders about covid: a certain number of people they consider expendable must die for The Economy. The purported left wing party also adopted that message.

this entire made up controversy is driving me nuts. I have a genetic disease. I’ve written about eugenics. Not everything is eugenics!

I get why able bodied white people give unlimited benefit of the doubt to the ad when white nationalism/eugenics are mainstream. Those of us who aren't able bodied white people don't have the luxury to pretend the ad is just about jeans.
