My mom’s having surgery on Friday, and I’m traveling down to the suburbs of Atlanta for a few weeks to take care of her.

Sounds like a prime opportunity to exercise those class action lawsuits to really nail down plaintiff status for data privacy.
That violates GDPR, CPRA, and almost all of the other state data privacy policies, for damn sure.
