Nailed it. Definitely Scooter Fury Road. And the thing is that the campus isn't that big to need them. Short walk from dorms to class bldgs. The motorized skateboards are the ones I really don't get. Seems sacrilegious given SoCal's skateboard history. 1/

I think I know your neuro ref too, one who was doing pt care during the pandemic. That aside, yes, expertise lines can get tricky. I faced it w/many media requests, asking myself: "Shld I offer comments on that topic or is that too far outside my wheelhouse & shld I just refer them to [colleague]?"

In my area, the problems are heavily with basic e-scooters, only some basic ebikes. Every now and then, there's some dork on a self-balancing scooter speeding down the road. Wearing ear buds while riding is a big problem too--worse when in the opposite direction in a bike lane or among pedestrians.
