I was in the Portishead and Massive Attack camp but it doesn't mean I haven't got ears and can't hear Supersonic is an exciting track partly because of the drums

It's funny but it's also dreadfully unfair. If you listen to that first album, that drummer was giving a lot of drive and energy to that band which they never had again.

BRB just submitting "I raw dogged a wank" to the Guardian

It's a wonderful example of not needing chops to make engaging music

Pretty sure this would just result in me feeling tired at 10am as it wore off, I suppose I could test this theory, but it's a slippery slope.

No. There's no good AI slop.

Yep but I think Run For Your Life is well known for being a bit grim where You Can't Do That flys under the radar a little. Probably as it's not part of the second half of their career, which is what most chin stroking people pay more attention to.

I love it / hate it. The lyrics are quite nasty, but at the same time, why can't songs be nasty? But deffo one you don't want to be singing under your breath walking around the house, unless you want to look like a psychopath.

Been working my way through Tony McCaroll's autobiograpy and the most damning diss he has of Noel is saying that Noel believed himself to be a better drummer than Ringo Starr. There's no coming back from that, that's a man unable to listen to music and hear it properly.
