I went almost a week between my first message and even getting confirmation that I was in the queue (not an actual date) recently. Then he showed up at my door an hour after our last conversation but without actually warning me.

Any time you see an argument in the form of "of course I support
, but what about 's rights?", it invariably turns out to mean that group Y's right to comfort is valued higher than group X's right to exist. -
This is worse than anything JKR has ever said, and I don't say that lightly. The rights of different people will inevitably conflict sometimes (e.g. your right to swing your fist ends at my face), and to say that trans rights must always be secondary is to say that trans people are sub-human.
