Honestly I don't really understand FOMO too well.
There's thousands of video games out there, why worry about not playing the next big release on time? Especially in this day and age, with patches and DLC and upgraded special editions, I really don't see the point in playing most games at launch

I used to love watching my older brother play video games.
When I was around 6, I watched him boot up Resident Evil: Code Veronica X.
It was already pretty spooky, and then there was an explosion and the zombies caught on fire and were still shuffling around.
