I am SO SICK of hearing people say, "investors create jobs." No, they don't. Demand creates jobs. Full stop.

Also, the lie we call "the law of supply and demand." Prices don't magically rise when there's low supply or high demand. Prices rise because someone decides to raise them. Full stop.

  1. You also might want to read up a little bit on the true laws of supply and demand and economics and possibly a little philosophy about money and how people spend it before you make such blanket statements.

  2. You should study economics. High demand with low supply will allow the supplier to charge more. No demand forces the supplier to lower prices to try to get sales. Someone can raise the price and they do all the time, doesn't mean people are buying the product. Your first statement is correct.

  3. Humans value scarcity. This has allowed artificial scarcity to be used to manipulate pricing (like diamonds).

Supply and demand is based on this; as product becomes scarce, people will pay more. It's manipulative, but profitable, and profit drives business.

Raise your hand for a cut in pay. No?

  4. They need us, fact! They have spent our whole life telling us differently. The problem is that they want the majority to die. They have throughout our lives, putting machines in placement of people. McDonald’s is a high school job lie. AI/robotics makes people unnecessary for the elite. We made them

  5. If no one buys, prices drop. When everyone fights for the item they can charge more. That’s why they hate when we boycott companies.

  6. Monopolies stop the supply and demand cycle that comes with fair competition. Virtual fiefdoms (like Amazon) also stifle an open marketplace. Prices go up when there are shortages so higher prices are passed on & greed keeps them high when costs go down (think Covid).

  7. Exactly, job creators are the consumers. How long would that ‘job creator’ business owner keep it’s employees if the revenue dried up.

  8. And because Reagan cancelled regulation and opened the floodgates for price gouging that has remained unchecked by both parties for decades.
