AI is now capable of designing a record-breaking deep sea submersible on its own. This marks a new age of exploration and I encourage all my fellow AI champions to build one and get in it so they can celebrate this achievement from the bottom of the sea.

The Smartless guys were saying Horror is the only genre that reliably draws people to theatres. It HAS to be the communal experience, along with the big screen and darkness. But what happened to the communal experience of comedy and laughing together?

To recap: You posted an article that claims Starlink hacked the voting machines. I say "no, starlink didn't have the machines". You reply "Who said anything about starlink, tinhat"? I say, "Um, you did?" Two questions:
- Why did you repost it?
- Are you off your meds?

The NJ Bell Labs guys were geniuses. More on the "R" side of "Research and Development". I was firmly on the "D" side.
Do you watch "Severance"? It blew me away that it's filmed in the old Bell Labs Holmdel location.

That one link I provided about the Law of Large Numbers specifically addressed one of ETA's problems.
Here's another broader critique of their work. There's also another good discussion on a statistician message board I will try to located. bsky.app/profile/r5-t...Critique of ETA’s election claims with a PA focus —emphasizing why demographic and statistical context matters before calling for recounts.
There is harm in platforming disinformation and grifters.

Who said anything about Starlink? The Tin Foil Hat wearers that you're partying with. open.substack.com/pub/thiswill...

"the down ballot wins on those swing states by Democrats has never happened" It's nonsense. It happened to Kari Lake in her AZ gubernatorial race. Down ballot did much better than her. It's why the AZ Senate and House are Republican with a Democratic governor.

Regarding the specific claims here. First of all, there are manual recounts of a statistically significant number machine tabulated ballots done in GA, AZ, PA, NC, OH.
Thank u. Can you explain all the statisticians’ findings claiming it is a statistical impossibility for Trump to have won all 6 swing states by the exact margins needed to prevent a recount and that the down ballot wins on those swing states by Democrats has never happened in the history of voting?

- They don't understand a basic statistical law. That election results were noisy at first and then just converged at certain levels isn't evidence of an algorithm: It's evidence of "Law of Large Numbers".
This guy did a beautiful job of dissecting it.

🧵 A group called "Election Truth Alliance" claims they found statistical proof that the 2024 election was rigged. Their analysis has spread across social media.
I rebuilt their analysis from scratch. What I found: They don't understand basic statistics.

When correlation is factored in, the "impossible" becomes "likely". One guy, when confronted with this said, "Yeah, but the math is easier to understand if you treat them independently".
