If the major TV news would do one simple thing. When Trump starts his dystopia blather about crime-ridden blue cities, they must repeat a side by side graphic with the crime stats of the top 10 highest crime cities. The airwaves must be inundated with those facts. Hard for even SCOTUS 6 to ignore.
They should expose the pretext for what it is.

If media did that they'd just be amplifying the fascist framing. Does it mean troops should be sent to high crime areas? Focus should be on authoritarianism, not "crime." It's the trap liberals fell into when they responded to racist lies about dangerous cities by giving cops more money.
