Somewhere in my phone, irretrievable since Google's pivot to AI search for Photos, I have a copy of a meme titled "Millennial retirement plans" and it's an image of an office door labeled KMS Financial Services.
Every millennial I know, including myself, will say some variation of "just die" when asked about their retirement plan. Like, not a joke. People really mean it.

A reference to "cockroaches" is telling. They see Black citizens of DC, migrants, and the unhoused as pests in need of removal, never mind the preceding centuries of inequality, slavery, death and terror. Please stay vigilant and feel free to report anything you see to us or tag us in your post
The throwback patriarchy boosterism with its obsession with strict honor codes, the "natural" inferiority of women, is all part and parcel of the same project. Women should be meek and led around by strong and honorable men who will, among other things, protect them from the "cockroaches."
This AM my there was a piece on edge/msn's homepage about Charlie Kirk saying men should pay for dates. The "honor" you "lose" by going dutch or letting her pay is "worth more than the money you save." We need to talk about how that rhetoric is the other side of the same coin as this one:

Witnessed a ribbon cutting at a new rest stop in OH. I wasn't sure what was going on since it was packed. I asked a guy at the door if I could enter. A short old man, some official, emerged from the crowd and hobbled forward, arms outstretched, and said "Yes! Come in! Come in and use the bathroom!"
