There is evidence that ICE doesn't respect any of the other laws regarding their activities, so why would one conclude they are fair at enforcing immigration law (particularly in the presence of copious evidence that they are not)?

They knew from the first term that he didn't mean what he said - that he couldn't be trusted by anyone, including his friends and allies - and knew what his party wanted to do from P2025 and their previous policies. It's impossible to reconcile that evidence with their (stated) hopes and desires.

Lack of ability to understand your level of competence + hunting things that can kill you (or that shoot back) = insurance payout for your family (if you planned well).
