The Constitution limits the power of political organizations which, by election, have no majority control or influence over any branch of the federal government.
This post assumes Dems have political power they are simply not bothering to use. Seems like part of a disinformation campaign to weaken approval of Democrats, in general, prior to the coming election year. There are Trump supporting organizations currently involved in similar things.

I saw earlier that Schumer is at least delaying a lot of Trump appointees. Enough that apparently people are calling on the GOP to change the rules to prevent it.
