What Trump/Texas just did will lead to the death of representative democracy. They’ve opened the door to gerrymandering every 2yrs, b4 any election. And when that happens, Americans will no longer believe their representation is legitimate. And representative democracy will die.

Another reason to know history. Companies like Walmart swept across America, DESTROYING small businesses and Main St USA,undercutting the small family owned businesses that served their communities, with prices they couldn’t compete with.
Now they are abandoning them.
Wal-Mart is feeling the pinch as tariffs cause price increases that customers can’t keep up with forcing stores to close in low income areas.
