They should stop seeing adjunct as a negative thing - the intention is to make it lighter and more drinkable, as if that's such a terrible thing to do.

Other than sweetness, glucose syrup has little flavour - and it's certainly not replacing barley as an ingredient.

Just shows how much of taste is down to what it looks like. Put it in a Peroni glass and they think it's Peroni even though they are very different tasting lagers.
