  1. If i had three wishes, my first wish is the power to clone our universe so we can get off this rock.

  2. Hey don't you judge Democrats like that! Americans don't want free universal healtcare, end police brutality against minorities, free legal abortions or affordable groceries - every American really wants is to send more money to Israel.

  3. Image description: A screenshot of a post by Jules Suzdaltsev, @jules_su , datestamped 10:52 AM, May 28, 2021, that reads:

    "Old joke:

If a genie gave Democrats three wishes, they'd negotiate down to one, and then wish for something they think Republicans would like."

  4. Every one of my group chats is now just an endless unbroken stream of people howling bloody oaths against the Democrats who caved, so that's a fun data point

  5. GENOCIDE JOE!

ACA: Then, Obama didn't do enough for global warming & trans rights!

Infrastructure passed: Biden didn't fix the Post-Covid economy fast enough! He's too old & doesn't speak perfect!

Clowns to the left & jokes to the right.... stick in the middle with you. -Stealer wheels

  6. Tbf, it was only 8 of the whole democrat senates who sold everyone out for their own gains. The move caused an uproar inside the party itself; and even outside of it as well.

  7. "Its not MEEEE who is making that wish of course but could you... maybe... kill all black people? I think in the interest of bipartisanship this is very favourable." The average democrat.

  8. Because that's the point of democracy. Trying to negotiate a single solution that apeals to everyone.

  9. Alternatively, they would wish to give the other two wishes to the republicans and the republicans would detain and deport the Genie for being a creature of Middle-eastern mythology.

  10. Democrats are like that dorky parent chaperone in teen movies who is all “Listen here, buddy, I‘m no pushover. I can tussle with the best of them….gosh dang it.”

  11. Democrats didn't need to surrender, but they chose to surrender. Timing was bad, voters were on their side, the courts were on the side of SNAP recipients, Trump was forcing Republicans to kill the filibuster. So why surrender if they didn't have to?

  13. This is why every child born after January 1, 2026 will somehow be ineligible for any public health program, but in exchange will have $2000 deposited in a tax-advantaged health savings account as long as they have two working and married (to each other) parents. It's called a Grand Bargain.

  14. Sad but true. Until the Democrats throw off the yoke of the corporatist in the party we will continue to be betrayed. We MUST find leaders that will support the American working people and NOT corporations!

  15. Why anyone still thinks that establishment dems aren't working hand in hand with the gop to please their donors is beyond me. If you can't see that this shit is by design at this point you are legitimately too fucking stupid to talk to me

  16. So let’s just say the best possible outcome is that the Senate gives the Dems their vote on ACA but it either fails or Johnson ignores it. Come January when the next shutdown happens will the Dems have more leverage because they can say “See. The Reps were liars?”

  17. The mistake is in believing the Democrats actually exist to solve the problems of voters. They don't. They're controlled opposition. They exist to serve the owner class.

  18. Isn’t that how we ended up with the ACA? A Heritage Foundation solution first implemented in Massachusetts by Mitt Romney. 😕
