Happily married Scottish cat-slave, mum to two wonderful people, vehemently anti-Brexit & heartily sick of corruption in politics & the greed in all sectors. City girl all my life but now love the Somerset countryside. More good books please.

  1. 👇🏼 Grade two listed building now needs expensive repairs, because some dickhead has painted a Red Cross on it

Hoping if caught they get same👇🏼2 years inside as the Stop Oil protesters who threw paint at a painting, who got extremely harsh sentences

    Because vandalism is vandalism 🤷🏼‍♂️

Image is ITV News report on St George’s Cross painted on white wall of grade 2 listed building in Portsmouth, which is gonna cost a shitload to repairImage is from the Bylines times report on the stop oil protesters who were given two years in size for throwing soup at a painting

  2. Where has this ludicrous ECHR "debate" even come from.

I've never once met an ordinary member of the public who's said to me, "Do you know what? We REALLY need to leave the ECHR."

It's just a new right wing talking point because every other shit idea they've foisted on us has run out of steam.

  3. Cold War Steve's cartoons really gets it with the political landscape. There is such weight in Reform's favour, at the expense of the Greens and Lib Dems. The reason that Reform is seen as this powerful force is because the media tell us this, and thus make it so. The bias is grotesque to see.

  4. I’d love to do Nordic Walking but can’t find a local group. Also loathe to try to schedule another regular outside activity at present.

Pilates class is best but I can’t bear the thought of a whole 45 mins/1 hr. Feel 15-20 mins, or a couple of shorter sessions, more often, better for me.

  5. I see that the folk who stretched interpretations of law / politics to absurdity around Brexit are now doing the same about leaving the ECHR. Is there an Article 24 we can invoke?
