  1. They're gone. The pharmacist says they expired so were sent back. Waiting on the new one. 🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️

  2. Thank you for all of the great information, Chise! ❤️ I’m navigating this world as a newly immunocompromised individual and it’s scary. I always come to your page to fact check when I hear any kind of vaccine news.

  3. Got everything last year. Have Asthma. Hoping I will be able to get the updated Covid shot. I thought it was not possible at all until I saw this post. Fuck RFK. Gonna piss on his grave!

  4. I tried to get the Covid booster that’s currently out but was told that asthma wasn’t enough to qualify me anymore. The pharmacist at the grocery store said they’d had to turn away a lot of ppl because only immunocompromised people could get it. Hoping my doctor will let me get it. 😞

  5. I got myself set up for September, they said they would be ok to give to me by the second just to make sure they got it. I’m already worried the state mentality of this country already so I’m prepped

  6. unfortunately pharmacies have already been instructed to send back their stores of the current vaccine and are awaiting the 2025-2026 version. I’d been trying to get it for some time bc I’m traveling soon but literally nowhere has it in stock. if you didn’t get it already you’re out of luck :(

  7. I was at CVS yesterday and asked about a COVID booster and I was told it was being updated on the 5th. Is this likely true?

  8. But according to RFK, Jr. I will be able to resist viruses if I eat my vegetables. It’s a good thing people started eating their veggies decades ago and stopped the polio epidemic. There should be mandated vaccinations against the virus of intentional ignorance, such as watching Fox “News.”

  9. Should nonimmunocompromised people who've been caught up on COVID-19 vaccinations and boosters still opt to get them? Is there any other vaccinations that we should consider updating while we have the chance to do so?

  10. Is this "just" Covid for now (plenty bad enough), or are there indications any other vaccines might go away soon...?

  11. I hope to get my new covid booster shot soon, otherwise I’m up to date! I think I have 4 or 5 booster shots and never had covid which is very surprising to me.

I wish my parents would also get the vaccines done, considering my father is immunocompromised… but they are both sceptical of it :(

  12. beeehhh, gonna have to wait until after the move. I do not have enough time between now and when the lease ends to spend two days knocked on my ass by my own immune response.

But, I will prioritize it ASAP after that. Thank you for the heads-up

  13. Sorry if I sound like a broken record, I just want people to realize it IS okay to get the current 2024-2025 COVID vaccine as a booster this year, ESPECIALLY if you know you will not be eligible to get the updated 2025-2026 vaccine due to this administration’s restrictions.

  14. Do you know where I can find update information on how Mexico will handle vaccinations this year? Thank you for always keeping me informed

  15. And don't assume your decades-old vaccinations are still active. I had to get a new MMR because mine weren't still active and there's a measles outbreak nearby.

  16. Question: In Germany they only reccommend COVID-Booster vaccination for 60+ yo and vulnerable people with pre-conditions. So should I ask my doctors here as well? Because I belong to the non-vulnerable group

  17. Not on the same continent but these are still good reminders! (I had forgotten. Got them recently up to date!) 🔥

  18. Thank you for the reminder Chise! Would you happen to have any idea about when/where Novavax would still be distributed? 😭 I’m trying to get it but NO ONE has it… (I get really, really bad symptoms with Moderna…)

  19. I went to check Jewel-Osco and they don't have the new Covid vax yet I guess. I even changed my age to check. I guess I wait and see.

  20. Thank you for the reminder! I've been putting it off for a long time now.

I've heard of otherwise very healthy people getting knocked on their ass after getting covid. It just goes to show that health is wealth and that being in perfect health is a luxury.

  21. Thanks for the reminder!! Last boosters I got are coming up on a year soon. Its heartbreaking that we're going backwards in progress, esp from a rare progressive win of getting a glimpse into socialized healthcare during the peak of the pandemic, to now facing even MORE life threatening restrictions

  22. Otherwise you’ll end up sick with a fever, like me.

My issue is I don’t even know if my medical insurance even covers vaccinations. I missed one flu shot season and here I am.

and yes the current administration and the Republican Party will cut people off from Medicaid.

  23. hello i am not smart and you are not not smart is there any sort of surge or anything? or are you saying we do this just in general?

  24. I tried to get an appointment scheduled and my local pharmacies aren't taking appointments for current covid vaccines because of the pending approval.

At least I'm technically high risk but not everyone else is. 🙃

  25. Getting mine this week. I just put down that I'm part of a sensitive group which is not untrue to get my covid booster.

  26. Better to get it cause I have had doctors say a new one was coming for months last year and theb maybe 8 or more months later was new... so it's better to get a current dose and then update it when next time comes around cause somethings better than nothing

  27. I'm vaxxed to the max and got COVID Aug 2 (Los Angeles - from 5 hrs in hospital ER waiting room - took a friend there).

5 days, 100.4° max. No "razor blade" sore throat.

Doc said I had a mild case. Also to get COVID vaccine every 6 months.

    I'm over 65.

COVID rates are low but rising.

  28. Stabby stabby oops now I’m immune. Vaccines are really cool, but they are weird. I guess they’re like training programs for cell soldiers.

  29. Do you know if the flu shots available now are an updated formulation for the 2025-26 expected strains, or are they the same as last year's? I usually wait until late October, but am already seeing the pharmacy chain ads for them (which is good news).
