  1. If they're anything like last year's rioters they'll be looking forward to 40 years in belmarsh by year 6.

  2. Are they all just bored or something, in need of a hobby, or a good walk? One thing's for sure, they will not like it if it happens

  3. I'm sorry, but what the actual fuck? This should have been done last year when the owner of X was pumping disinfo and misinfo right into the heart of our democracy and Labour sat on their hands and said, "Very good." It's insane we let social media platforms undermine democracy in this way.

  4. Obviously the tone of these posts is grim, especially considering the history of Combat 18. But it is ridiculous to think this hysteria can compete with the football season starting. Attention will fade, would be autocrats will continue to dream

  5. I see these posts & as someone who lives in London keep wondering what country these people are talking about

Yes, I know things are far from ideal but the country they describe is not the country I see

& a lot of what isn’t working is a direct result of Brexit largely created by Farage himself

  7. Totally agree. Musk's platform, with his overt support, can openly undermine UK HMG & spread dangerous misinformation. Nothing! A pensioner gets a Sharpie out & bang...arrest them!?!

  8. In my idealised world that would definitely happen & I would live happily ever after.

  9. Tbf this is Lord Miles, a fascist shitposter who was advocating for a private invasion of Haiti only a few months back. He's found a way to make a lot of money by doing posts like this. Obviously doesn't make it any better

  10. They seem to not know there have been lots of British nationalist far right terror groups either. None got mass popular support ( nordid the IRA even in NI and especially not Ireland - see killings of Garda for example ).

For a monthly fee, you can generate R/X rated images of celebrities.

Over 34M images have been generated in the space of 48 hours.

That’s roughly 800,000 gallons of water for cooling and enough power for 30 houses for a year.

  12. It is amazing that politicians in Western countries still remain on X. Partly it is because they can't control the algorithms on Bluesky, but maybe the Faustian bargain between Russia and the West is to allow Elon to foment civil war and then introduce biometric id controls for all internet users.

  13. I guarantee all the same people hate the IRA but somehow this isn't important because they're different and have a genuine cause (attacking refugees).

  14. I have it on good authority that things can only get better so we shouldn’t have much to worry about

  15. It's jarring how immediately you enter the echo chamber on that hellsite. You know the bit in Ace Ventura where he slides the double glazed door open and closed while going AHHHHHH? It's like that but for insane knee jerk racism. At least all the most boring people alive are being contained there.

  16. The bar is so low I would celebrate the government stopping the use of his website, let alone blocking it. I think we should probably question why they’re never going to do this (at least in their current iteration).

  17. He’s not going to, doesn’t want to, it entirely suits his agenda of destabilising British political discourse.

The problem for him is it’s unlikely to work. The problem for us is he’s not going to stop.

The fact that the racist minority are a small minority doesn’t stop them being a problem.

  18. The government is too busy clogging up the criminal justice system with people being arrested for holding placards.
