The biggest and worst thing to happen in politics over the past decade is the mainstream right losing its mind. Actual reasonable centre right conservatives are like giant pandas. We’re going to have to breed them in captivity
It is quite something to see much of what was once the mainstream right predicting, hoping for, braying for “revolt/revolution”.
What you have is a fully radicalising rw media, which talks of revolution, coups etc whilst claiming to be the authentic voice of British patriotism (last time I checked, treason wasn’t patriotic). So these totally conservative, unrevolutionary people have fallen into normalising this language.

The government may need to look into proscribing X if Elon Musk can not contain calls for terrorist violence

Nobody advocating for Ukraine to surrender its territory to Russia has any business ever calling themselves antifascist.
My awkward opinion is that Palestine Action shouldn’t have been proscribed and doing so was a draconian mistake, but that the protests valorising them show there is no cause the English middle class can’t make to be about the English middle class.
